Payment & Private Insurance
Payment for services is made in three or four amounts, depending on if additional testing for Autism is conducted. A receipt will be provided when payment is received.
The first payment for assessments is paid as a deposit and is due prior to the scheduling of all intake calls and in-person testing dates.
The second payment is due after the in-person testing has been completed.
If additional Autism (ASD) testing is completed, a 3rd payment is due following this additional testing session and/or collateral information has been collected by the psychologist.
The final payment is due just prior to the feedback session being scheduled which is before the report is released. Payment can be made by e-transfer or credit card.
Clients are provided with a receipt for all payments for submission to any private insurers for reimbursement or income tax purposes.
Cancellation and Missed Appointments
To ensure effective psychological services and to respect the time of both clients and our staff, clients are encouraged to prioritize their scheduled appointments. The following cancellation policy applies:

- Clients must provide at least 3 full business days’ notice to cancel or reschedule an intake or feedback interview or phone call.
- Late Cancellation Fee: A fee of $300.00 will be applied for cancellations made with less than 3 full business days’ notice. This fee will be deducted from any funds already paid to Edcommodate, and the remaining balance will be owed to reschedule or proceed with the assessment.
