Synecca Tauro conducts psychoeducational assessments in Cambridge, ON, and also serves members of the surrounding communities such as Kitchener, Waterloo, Guelph, Milton, and Woodstock. Synecca Tauro is a dedicated Psychological Associate registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario, with a focus on School and Clinical Psychology specializing in working with children and adolescents. Her passion for fostering mental health and well-being in young individuals drives her commitment to providing high-quality psychological services.
Synecca earned her Master of Science in School Psychology from the University of Hartford, where she specialized in Clinical Child Counseling. Her rigorous academic training has equipped her with a solid foundation in psychological theories, assessment techniques, and intervention strategies tailored to meet the unique needs of children and adolescents.
Throughout her career, Synecca has gained extensive experience working with clients and their families across diverse settings, including schools, outpatient mental health clinics, and private practice. This breadth of experience has allowed her to develop a comprehensive understanding of the myriad challenges faced by young individuals. She has successfully provided psychological assessments and therapeutic interventions for a wide range of issues, including learning difficulties, anxiety, mood disorders, emotional and behavioral dysregulation, as well as autism spectrum disorder.
