In-Person & Online Psychoeducational Assessment Services

About Edcommodate

At Edcommodate, we’re passionate about helping children, teens, adults, and their families discover their unique strengths and learning styles through comprehensive psychoeducational assessments available both in-person and online. Our assessments provide valuable insights into how individuals learn, think, and approach everyday challenges, empowering them to reach their full potential at school, at work, and in daily life.

We’ve thoughtfully designed our services to make high-quality assessments accessible across Ontario and Atlantic Canada. By addressing common barriers such as long wait lists and limited provider availability, we ensure that you and your family can receive the support and understanding you deserve – when you need it most.

Supporting Learning, Development & Daily Functioning

Edcommodate offers a wide range of assessment services, including:

Our assessments take a close look at each student’s needs. We explore things like social skills, memory, attention, school skills, and emotional well-being to get a clear picture of learning challenges and learning strengths. This helps us understand what support might be helpful and how to make learning and life a little easier for each person.

The Edcommodate Assessment Process

Our assessment services are provided and overseen by members of our team of registered psychologists with advanced training in developmental and learning disabilities. These professionals are licensed to practice psychology in their respective provinces, ensuring they meet high standards for education, experience, and ethical care. They have extensive experience working with people of all ages, from young children to adults, and are skilled in understanding not only learning and development, but also behaviour, social-emotional functioning, executive functioning, and conditions like ADHD and autism. You can trust that your assessment will be handled with expertise, care, and a focus on you or your Child’s unique needs.

Our psychoeducational assessment process consists of documentation collection, clinical interviews, and psychological testing batteries that are evidence-based and adhere to established best practices in psychological assessment. Each assessment results in a comprehensive report summarizing findings and, when applicable, diagnoses. Our process concludes with a feedback session, where we work collaboratively with individuals and families to ensure results are clearly explained, translated into actionable next steps, and meet documentation and validation requirements for schools, workplaces, and healthcare providers. If anything is ever unclear following a feedback session and review of a report, an additional follow-up session is scheduled with the psychologist.

Why Edcommodate?

At Edcommodate, we stand out by focusing exclusively on psychoeducational and diagnostic assessments. Our unique approach allows us to:

  • Maintain no waitlist
  • Serve remote communities across Ontario, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island
  • Deliver timely and actionable assessment results without compromising accuracy or depth

Our assessments are thorough and reliable, giving you clear insights and practical recommendations. Our psychologists are true specialists in psychoeducational and diagnostic assessments. After all, it’s their primary focus and passion. When ongoing therapy or additional support is needed, we make sure to connect you with trusted external providers, so you’re always supported on your journey.
