Kristyn Drover is a seasoned Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience assessing both children and adults. She graduated in 1999 with a graduate degree in Clinical Psychology, earning her Bachelor’s from Memorial University and her Master’s from the University of Sarasota. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate.
Kristyn began her career with an Ontario school board while also establishing a private assessment practice. Over seven years in Ontario, she conducted comprehensive assessments for approximately 700 individuals. Her passion for family led her back to her native Newfoundland, where she balanced her role as a fully registered Clinical Psychologist with Eastern Health and her private practice.
In Newfoundland, Kristyn focused on therapeutic interventions but recognized the continuing need for assessments, which she integrated into her practice. She has supervised provisional psychologists and students from the Memorial University Doctor of Psychology program, taught the Adult Assessment course, and served as a Professional Psychology Associate at MUN.
Most recently, Kristyn enhanced her assessment skills, including specialized training in the ADOS with Dr. Adam McCrimmon, a leading expert in autism assessment from the University of Calgary.
After 13 years with Eastern Health, Kristyn has returned to Ontario to join the Edcommodate team, excited to provide quality assessments to clients. She is registered as a Clinical Psychologist in Ontario, in good standing with the College of Psychologists, with declared competencies in assessment/evaluation and intervention/consultation for children, adolescents, and adults.
Kristyn looks forward to making a positive impact through psychoeducational assessment in Cambridge, Ontario with Edcommodate, where she can serve members of the communities of Waterloo, Kitchener, Guelph, Milton, and Woodstock.
