Executive Function

Our assessment explores working memory, organization, time management, task initiation, planning, and the ability to complete long or demanding projects.

Emotional & Behavioural Regulation

We assess restlessness, impulsivity, difficulty unwinding, emotional overwhelm, and regulation challenges that affect daily life and relationships.

Daily Functioning & Productivity

We explore how your symptoms and concerns are impacting work, home responsibilities, academic performance, and your ability to cope with challenging parts of everyday routines.

What to Expect During the Online Psychoeducational Assessment Process

Online Intake & Questionnaires

Digital forms gather background information, including medical history, previous assessments, academic history, report cards, and areas of concern.

Psychoeducational Testing Sessions

Standardized testing sessions are offered through secure online platforms. Testing materials are couriered when required, and sessions are administered and overseen by a registered psychologist or a psychometrist to ensure validity. Assessments hone in on a student’s needs as well as learning strengths.

Feedback Session

A dedicated virtual or phone feedback session providing valuable insights into findings and discussing recommended next steps, such as school or workplace accommodations or other ongoing support recommendations, such as referrals for therapy.

Written Report

A detailed report outlining assessment results, such as diagnoses (where applicable), learning style, which can be unique to a school environment, academic strengths and needs, and practical recommendations for accommodation and/or modifications at school and for treatment or support. Reports are designed for sharing with schools, post-secondary institutions, employers, and health care providers, at the discretion of the client or family.
