What to Know: Costs, Insurance Coverage, and Cancellations

• Psychoeducational Assessments (Ages 7–50): $3,200.00

• Psychoeducational + Psychiatry Assessment: $5,000.00

• Developmental Psychoeducational Assessment (Ages 3–6): $3,500.00

• ASD Diagnostic Assessment (Includes Psychoeducational/Developmental Testing, Ages 3–50): $5,000.00

• Adult Neuropsychological Assessment (Ages 18–60): $4500.00 – $5500.00

• Virtual Adult ADHD Diagnostic Assessment (Ages 18–50): $1,600.00

• Giftedness Assessment: $1,400.00

  Note: Giftedness testing is also administered for as part of a psychoeducational assessment.

Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, PEI, New Brunswick

• Virtual Psychoeducational Assessments (Ages 7–50): $3,200.00

• Virtual Adult ADHD Diagnostic Assessment (Ages 18–50): $1,600.00

• Virtual Adult Neuropsychological Assessment (Ages 18–60): $4500.00 – $5500.00

Payment & Private Insurance

Edcommodate offers flexible payment plans, typically broken into 2 to 4 instalments depending on the assessment type. Payment is accepted via e-transfer and credit card.

Payment Schedule

• Deposit: Due prior to scheduling intake calls and in-person testing.

• Second Payment: Due after in-person testing is completed.

• (If Applicable) Third Payment: Due following additional ASD testing or collateral information collection.

• Final Payment: Due before the feedback session is scheduled and prior to report release.

Clients receive receipts for each payment, which may be used for private insurance reimbursement or tax purposes. While Edcommodate does not bill insurers directly, we can provide a service description letter to assist with pre-approval inquiries. Psychoeducational assessments are often covered under the psychological services portion of private health benefits.

Cancellation & Missed Appointments

To maintain the quality and efficiency of our services, we ask clients to respect the following cancellation policy:

• Notice Required: At least 3 full business days for any virtual or in-person appointment

• Late Cancellation/No Show Fee: A $300.00 for virtual/phone appointments and a $500.00 fee for in person appointments will be charged for cancellations made with less than 3 full business days’ notice. This amount will be deducted from any payments already made, and the remaining balance must be paid before rescheduling or continuing the assessment process.

We understand that unexpected situations can arise. Exceptions may be granted on a case-by-case basis at Edcommodate’s discretion.
