Stojana Stanivuk

Registered Social Worker

Stojana Stanivuk is a Registered Social Worker in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. Stojana completed her Health Studies and Bachelor of Social Work education at University of Waterloo.

 

Previously, Stojana worked as a Client Navigator at a Community Health Centre where she assisted clients in addressing and improving their social determinants of health and overall wellbeing. This included supporting, advocating, and navigating variety of systems such as the health care, educational, financial, and legal systems. 

Stojana’s wealth of experience, training and compassion will help provide support to families to allow them to optimize their child’s psychoeducational assessment and identify any additional support needed for the family to achieve their goals. Stojana is here to provide direct support with obtaining and filling out forms and/or documents, navigating through support systems, problem-solving, providing helpful information on community resources, case-management, and advocacy. 

 

During the psychoeducational assessment, you will be provided with up-to-date information and eligibility criteria for available programs, services, and resources. You will also be provided with strategies on how to successfully inform the school or employer and advocate for the most appropriate accommodation.
