Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
Although not the primary purpose, a psychoeducational assessment with Edcommodate will often be helpful in identifying and/or ruling out ADHD, a relatively common coexisting condition in children with learning disabilities.
When ADHD has been identified in addition to or in place of a learning disability, this will be shared with the family, and client where appropriate, at the feedback session.
Again, appropriate recommendations for accommodations and/or modifications targeting symptoms associated with ADHD will be included in the psychoeducational report.
Under certain circumstances a psychiatric consultation may be arranged at the discretion of the primary clinician.
