About Dr. Angela Meyers

Dr. Angela Meyers earned her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Clinical Psychology from Fielding Graduate University in Santa Barbara, California, in 2022. She also holds a master’s degree in Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage, Family, and Child Therapy.

Dr. Meyers completed both her doctoral internship and postdoctoral residency at Compass Health Network, a Certified Community Behavioral Health Organization (CCBHO) and Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). During her training, she gained extensive experience providing comprehensive psychological assessment across the lifespan while working within Missouri’s largest behavioral healthcare provider.

Throughout her career, Dr. Meyers has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including community mental health, residential treatment, schools, and private practice. She is licensed as a Psychologist and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Missouri and is registered as a Psychologist in Ontario, Canada.

Dr. Meyers currently provides comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational assessment services with Edcommodate in person in Cambridge, Ontario and throughout Ontario and Atlantic Provinces, often via telehealth. Her practice focuses on conducting thorough, evidence- based evaluations that help individuals, families, educators, and healthcare providers better understand a person’s cognitive, academic, adaptive, behavioral, and social-emotional functioning.

She has specialized experience assessing children, adolescents, and young adults for Autism Spectrum Disorder and other neurodevelopmental conditions. Dr. Meyers has training and experience administering, scoring, and interpreting a wide range of standardized assessment instruments, including the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2), the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children, Fifth Edition (WISC-V), the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale, Fifth Edition (WAIS-V), the Adaptive Behavior Assessment System, Third Edition (ABAS-3), the Behavior Assessment System for Children, Third Edition (BASC-3), as well as numerous additional cognitive, academic, adaptive, behavioral, executive functioning, and autism-specific assessment measures. She integrates data from standardized testing, clinical interviews, behavioral observations, developmental history, and collateral information to develop comprehensive diagnostic formulations and individualized recommendations.

In addition to her assessment work, Dr. Meyers has experience providing clinical supervision to graduate students, provisionally licensed counselors, and doctoral interns. She is passionate about psychological assessment, clinical training, consultation, teaching, supervision, and qualitative research. Her goal is to provide compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based evaluations that empower individuals and families with meaningful answers and practical recommendations.
